I am a keen cook and with a growing family I see it as my responsibility to provide my family with fresh, home cooked food. This however, doesn’t always make for an easy life. With such a large part of my day spent cooking I have been through my fair share of pans. I’ve tried stainless steel (but the milk used to stick to the bottom), enamel (but they only lasted a couple of months) and even cast iron which I thought were a safe bet (but they were far too heavy).
Eventually (after some research) I decided to try Hard Anodised pans by Racheal Ray. The reason I chose the Racheal Ray pan is because I needed pans which are hardwearing, light in weight, non-stick and look good (I like to hang my pans up in the kitchen).
Another factor was finding a set of pans which is good value for money, I have spent a lot of money on pans in the past and wanted to ensure that these pans were not only going to last but were not going to break the bank. Luckily Rachael Ray has a 10 piece cookware set which includes all the pans needed for everyday use; from warming the children’s milk to a big stock pot for making a homemade stew.
I also like to throw dinner parties (when I get the time) and am delighted at the number of compliments I’ve had about my food since buying the Rachael Ray pans. My speciality has become my lightly fried chicken in rosemary which thanks to the Rachael Ray pan is always evenly, perfectly cooked (not an easy thing to do with chicken).
Then after a lavish dinner party or a hectic day with the children it is such a relief to spend such little time doing the washing up, nothing seems to stick to these pans (not even the milk).
I would really recommend investing in some Rachael Ray pans, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cook; whether cooking for a large family or just for yourself these are a great set of pans which are guaranteed to last (I should know I’ve had them since 2006).
